We are a Peanut Free Campus
In order to protect the health of all of our students, The Academy is a nut and peanut free campus. We will not serve any nut/peanut product or those which may be cross-contaminated to our students. We require that parents adhere to this policy and not send any nut/peanut product, or any item that might be cross-contaminated in their child's snack or lunch. If a teacher or staff member discovers a food item that violates this policy, it will be returned unopened to the parent along with a note of explanation. Please see our Handbook for a complete list of safe foods for snack or lunch.
Student Dress Code
Clothing is often a reflection of values and economic means. Our intention is that our students reflect the values of The Academy as a Christian school, not the values promoted by our society that find experssion in fashions and fads. In addition, scripture is clear that Christians are one in Christ and that clothing should not distinguish between those who are wealthy and those who are not.
Currently our uniform policy affects only Elementary students (Preschool students are exempt from this). Students will wear khaki or navy pants/shorts/skirts/skorts (minimum fingertip length) with tops that are solid white, light blue or navy with a collar. Girls may also wear polo knit dresses (white, light blue, or navy), or navy/khaki jumpers. K5 and K6 students may wear solid color tees (white, light blue or navy). Clothing that conforms to this policy can be found at Target, Old Navy, Educational Outfitters, Lands End and the Grey Goose.
Further and complete rules and guidelines are available in our Handbook.
